Xbox dropped a car from a helicopter because Forza Horizon 5

Talk about a PR stunt.

Xbox ANZ has just dropped a car from a helicopter to celebrate the launch of Forza Horizon 5.

“We’re literally dropping this Forza Horizon 5 [Polaris RZR] right into the Festival,” reads a tweet posted earlier this morning. “See you there?”

Moreover, Xbox ANZ is offering players the chance to win “the one of a kind skydiving helmet” used in the jump. To secure an entry, you need to like and RT the post that’s embedded below.

The stunt, in which a Polaris off-road vehicle was ejected from a copter at an elevation of 4,500 feet before parachuting to the ground, was meant to mimic Forza Horizon 5’s initial drive.

You can check out the drop, which took place somewhere in Victoria, below.

Moreover, Xbox ANZ will be giving away the helmet worn by the stuntman who actually took the plunge in the Polaris; stay tuned to Xbox ANZ’s Twitter account for more information on how to enter that contest.

Forza Horizon 5 is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X, also part of Xbox Game Pass. We reviewed it here.
