“World’s fastest Platinum Trophy game” pulled from the PlayStation Store

Indie title ★★★★★ 1000 Top Rated, one that billed itself as the “World’s fastest Platinum Trophy game”, has been pulled from the PlayStation Store.

You need to see this game for yourself:

The game’s developer, Best Themes (they also sell PS4 Themes), took to its Facebook page to detail the ban.

“Sony has pulled the game temporarily and asked me to change the game’s name & not mention trophies in the Store trailer,” Best Themes wrote. “I am happy to comply!

“I don’t know when it will be released again, but I’ll update this page as soon as I know.”

Best Themes said the title would take the average gamer an hour to Platinum, though a small disclaimer says some can do it in as little as 20 minutes. Gameplay involves sliding pieces of 4K images around until the image is properly aligned.

It retailed for $0.98 USD — so it was a cheap Platinum Trophy in many different ways.

What do you make of ★★★★★ 1000 Top Rated? Should it be allowed for sale on the PlayStation Store?
