Anthem 8-bit theme unlocked by entering the Konami Code

Players can unlock an Anthem 8-bit theme by inputting the Konami Code, recent reports suggest.

The Konami Code — Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A — transformed the game’s title card music to 8-bit during its VIP demo last weekend. We’re unsure if you’re able to do the same in the open demo taking place right now, but it’s worth a short, eh?

You can check out the 8-bit music below thanks to a capture from Cheese Forever.

The Anthem open demo is on now; for more information about it, head here.

Anthem heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 22 February.
