This adorable doggo is a Halo Infinite voice actor

Meet Gyoza, an adorable pug who can also list Halo Infinite voice actor on his resume.

According to developer 343 Industries the doggo, named Gyoza, is “the best friend of our studio’s Technical Art Director” and has contributed “his grunts, breaths, and excitement” to make some “interesting sounds” inside Halo Infinite itself. You can hear for yourself in the video below.

A pug’s short nose might look adorable, but it’s actually rather sad.

“The flattened face and the shortened muzzle is caused by defective cartilage, and that is deliberately selected by breeders,” RSPCA veterinarian Dr Jade Norris said to the Daily Mail in reference to the pug’s signature schnoz. “It is an artificial selection, and it can cause man-made health problems.”

At least Gyoza has fame and glory, eh?

Halo Infinite heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and the next-gen Project Scarlett for the 2020 holiday season.
