Discord voice chat rolling out now on Xbox

Yes, please.

Discord voice chat is rolling out now on Xbox, heading to Xbox Insiders first.

“You will be able to chat with anyone on Discord via voice channels or group calls directly from your console making it easy to connect with friends across mobile, Xbox, and PC,” Microsoft said in a statement.

When available, you’ll be able to use the new feature by heading into Parties & chats and then selecting Try Discord Voice on Xbox. From there, you’ll need to scan a QR code that will help you link your Discord and Xbox accounts.

Those who’ve previously linked their accounts together will need to redo that for this new feature.

Sony has previously announced plans to integrate PlayStation with Discord systems.

Are you planning on using Discord voice chat on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X? Why or why not?
