Director of the new Deus Ex game confirms you don’t need to kill bosses

Executive Game Director at Eidos Montreal Jean-François Dugas is the man in charge of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and as such is a popular man right now. He’s taken to answering some fan queries about the new Deus Ex game on Twitter, leading to some interesting revelations.

The biggest revelation for me is that boss battles in Mankind Divided will be “ghostable”, that is you should be able to complete the entire game without killing anybody, even bosses. It should open the game up even more from a strategic sense, and the boss battles were much maligned in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Dugas also confirmed that the team behind Human Revolution will be handling this new game and that a classic difficulty mode will be included for series veterans.

You can check out all of the responses in Dugas’ Twitter feed. It makes for some interesting and potentially exciting reading for Deus Ex fans.
