Diablo 4 Season 3 starts 24 January

Season of the Construct will change things up.

Diablo 4 Season 3, Season of the Construct, will begin on 24 January here in Australia, Activision Blizzard has today declared.

“Discover the secrets of Zoltun Kulle’s Loom with all new Dungeon-type vaults alongside a brand-new seasonal robotic Seneschal Companion,” reads a press release. “Weekly Leaderboards are also coming this season in the form of The Gauntlet.”

Featuring an all-new quest line, players will team up with an NPC called Ayuzahan to battle the demon Malphas and stolen ancient tech called The Loom.

New to the season is the Seneschal Companion, “which will fight by your side and can be customized to fit your playstyle,” according to Activision Blizzard. Players will also recover Governing and Tuning Stones from Vaults to augment companions.

Vaults themselves “are a deadly new dungeon riddled with various elemental Hazards and a new monster family, The Constructs,” Blizzard continued. “At World Tier III, Nightmare Vaults will unlock.

“When entering a vault, you can convert Pearls of Warding and be blessed by Zoltun’s Warding, a special layered blessing that grants access to riches within the Vaults. These will diminish stack by stack if you fall prey to the Hazards within,” the press release said. “Pearls of Warding can increase the risk by exchanging them for stacks of Zoltun’s Warding, but success will see your reward increase as well.”

Here in Austraia, we can expect Season of the Construct from 5.00 am AEDT on 24 January 2024.
