Destiny 2’s Bergusia Forge sure looks tough

The first Guardians have entered Destiny 2′s Bergusia Forge and are starting to give the rest of us an idea of what to expect.

First, the Forge looks to be 650 Light, meaning you’ll need to be at (or near) the game’s maximum Light to battle within it. While the experience plays out similar to other Forges, it looks tough — a large number of exploding Shanks float about in the Forge’s first wave, followed by the Russian nesting doll Servitors seen during the game’s Solstice of Heroes event.

Wave three? A giant Fallen Walker. Enjoy!

If you think the Forge itself is tough, a datamine suggests that Guardians will need to complete the game’s Shattered Throne dungeon to progress additional questlines.

The Bergusia Forge was supposed to unlock at the successful completion of the game’s Niobe Labs, but was unlocked without that requirement after streamers couldn’t complete it after more than 28 hours.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
