Destiny 2 Showcase scheduled for 24 August

Get hype!

A new Destiny 2 Showcase take place on 24 August here in Australia, Bungie has confirmed.

The event will revolve around the game’s next big expansion, titled Lightfall, and will also include info on the new Arc 3.0 subclass update.

Aussies can expect the show from 2.00 am AEST on 24 August; the event is also sandwiched by pre- and post-livestream shows.

Those still playing Destiny 2 should be pretty hyped for the expansion, which will continue the shades of grey storytelling that’s replaced the notion of good versus bad. Bungie has previously disclosed that Lightfall will conclude “the first saga of Destiny“.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia. Its Solstice of Heroes 2022 event kicks off later this week.
