Destiny 2 PC, PlayStation players get free access to expansions

Prepare yourselves for The Final Shape.

Destiny 2 players on PC and PlayStation will gain access to three expansions for free in the leadup to The final Shape in June.

Sony and Bungie will provide The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep to those playing Destiny 2 on PS4, PS5 and PC, while those subscribed to PlayStation Plus will also gain access to the current expansion, Lightfall, on PlayStation.

Access to the three expansions will be offered between 8 May to 4 June here in Australia, leading up to the launch of The Final Shape on 5 June.

Bungie has called The Final Shape the “culmination of a 10-year journey [but] not the end of Destiny 2“.

Destiny 2 is also celebrating the leadup to The Final Shape with a special event called Into the Light, on now. As part of it, you can also try out a new PvE Boss Mode called Pantheon.

Destiny 2 The Final Shape heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 5 June here in Australia.
