Destiny 2 cutscene teases battle between Orisis, Rasputin

Destiny 2 players were treated to a new cutscene following week’s reset, likely teasing what’s to come in next season. From what was shown, Guardians should expect an epic battle between Osiris and Rasputin the Warmind.

The cutscene, below, shows Osiris as he walks into Rasputin’s chamber on Mars. Calling the AI an “old man”, Osiris says the galaxy needs to choose between light and dark, and that Rasputin needs to pick a side.

Both these major characters were focal points in Destiny 2 DLC — Osiris in Curse of Osiris and Rasputin in Warmind. It’s likely that with the reintroduction of Osiris’ Lighthouse, we’ll also see some sort of conflict between these two powers in the next season, likely named Season of the Worthy.

We’ll keep you posted as more information comes to light.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia. You can donate your Fractaline towards rebuilding the Lighthouse now; Season of the Worthy (or whatever it’s called) arrives on 10 March.
