Crash Team Racing remaster coming June 2019

Update: The game — Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled — has been confirmed for a 21 June 2019 release on Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.

Original story: A Crash Team Racing remastered will allegedly be revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow, going off teases from Activision Blizzard.

Like Activision did with Spyro Reignited Trilogy and mysterious packages with Spyro eggs, it’s been sending out fuzzy dice to influencers and media this week. The orange-coloured dice tease an impending Game Awards reveal.

Stevivor’s been sent Crash-related items this week in the form of “Crashmas Cookies”, but we just chalked them up to brilliant wordplay. You can decide if it’s related or not.

The Game Awards takes place tomorrow, so we’ll find out if we’re getting the Crash Team Racing remaster or not. Event host Geoff Keighley has confirmed that more than 10 new game reveals will take place.

Are you excited about the prospect of the remaster?
