Crackdown 3 multiplayer test announced ahead of launch

Crackdown 3 multiplayer test has been announced ahead of the game’s launch next week.

“As the team moves full steam toward launch, we will be conducting a technical test of Wrecking Zone, the fully-destructible Azure cloud-powered multiplayer mode, to ensure a smooth experience for everyone on February 15,” Jorg Neumann, Head of Production at Microsoft Global Publishing, wrote on Xbox Wire.

The downside is that the test is only available for those registered with the Xbox Insider program, so access is extremely limited.

The Wrecking Zone multiplayer test should be available for pre-load now, with playtests starting soon.

Crackdown 3 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One on 15 February as part of the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere programs.
