Control’s story has just begun, says Remedy

Remedy asserted to IGN that it wants to continue the story of Control and has spent considerable time and effort to get into the position to do just that.

“A lot of [our recent work] was about getting Remedy into a position where we can create Control, and we can hopefully keep making more Control,” Communications Director, Thomas Puha, said. “So yeah, absolutely – and especially with all the love we’re getting. There are so many things we know we can we can do and explore, so I’d say this is just the start.”

“There’s no one in the current Control team who wants out; there are actually people who want in,” Executive Producer, Juha Vainio, added. “So we have a positive problem.”

Control has already released a Photo Mode and Expeditions DLC as free, post-release content; two paid expansions are due in 2020. The first, The Foundation, is expected shortly while the second, content that ties into RemedyAlan Wake, is due mid-2020.

Control is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We awarded it the honour of Stevivor’s Game of the Year for 2019.
