Carrion release date set for 23 July; is a day one Xbox Game Pass add

The Carrion release date has finally been confirmed for 23 July across Windows PC, Xbox One and Switch, Devolver and Phobia Game Studio today detailed as part of the Devolver Direct livestream.

Moreover, it’s been confirmed — by Phil Spencer, no less — that Carrion will be available via Xbox Game Pass that very same day.

Carrion is a “reverse horror game” in which you assume the role of the creature that salks things in the night (or day). You’re basically a vore lover’s dream, consuming everything organic in sight to grow larger and more menacing. We checked it out at X019 in London last year.

Carrion heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and Switch on 23 July, and will also be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
