Bungie will share more of a “new era” for Destiny 2 soon

Bungie has promised to share more of a “new era” for itself and Destiny 2 very soon.

“Right now, our focus is on Opulence. But after the Season has launched and Raid belts have been awarded, we’ll be looking deeper into the future, and sharing with you more about a new era for Bungie and Destiny 2,” David ‘DeeJ’ Dague said, closing off Bungie’s weekly update.

Season of Opulence is scheduled for 5 June here in Australia, complete with a new Raid called Crown of Sorrows. With E3 2019 a week after the content’s launch, it seems a perfect time to detail what’s ahead for the popular looter shooter. We’ll keep you posted.

This will be the Destiny franchise’s first E3 without the power of Activision Blizzard behind it. One of the final steps in the dissolution of the partnership between the pair was taken last week when a patch on Battle.net removed Activision Blizzard’s name from the PC version’s credits.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
