Australian developed, exploration focused MMO Wander coming to PC and PS4 in June

Developed by a team based in Melbourne, Wander is an exploration focused MMO bereft of combat coming to both PC and PS4 in June this year.

In Wander, players begin life as a giant tree before reawakening as four separate and vastly different life forms. Players will explore the ocean as an amphibian, fly through the air as a griffin and explore as an Oren or hira.

To communicate with others, players will need to master the Rozhda system in which glyphs are drawn by using the mouse or the touch pad on the PS4. The more you explore, the more glyphs you’ll find and the more you’ll be able to communicate. Should you choose to impart your knowledge on other players you can, or you can choose to let them discover it at their own pace. The choice is yours.

While playing as a hira, you’ll be able to request a ride on a griffin and soar high up onto the air and then jump off and perform a skydive. If you’re particularly skillful, you’ll be able to land back onto another griffin mid dive and continue to fly.

Wander certainly looks interesting and in the same school as No Man’s Sky. Check out the screenshots in the gallery below. It will be available for PC and PS4 on 4 June.
