Apple CEO on the Surface Book: “It’s sort of deluded”

Apple CEO Tim Cook has lashed out at Microsoft’s new hyrbid laptop, the Surface Book.

“It’s a product that tries too hard to do too much,” he said in conversation with the Irish Independent. “It’s trying to be a tablet and a notebook and it really succeeds at being neither. It’s sort of deluded.”

The most expensive model of the Surface Book comes with a GPU in-built in its detachable keyboard, making it a decent device for low- to mid-level gaming.

The Surface Book is officially available in Australia today; it’s a highlight of Microsoft’s newest Microsoft Store in the Pitt St Mall, Sydney.
