Apex Legends Season 3 introduces Crypto, its new character

Apex Legends Season 3 will commence on 1 October and brings with it the game’s newest character, Crypto.

As we reported yesterday, Crypto’s been seen in Season 2 trailers but more recently has made an in-game cameo doing what he does best: hacking. Today, EA and Respawn confirmed the character would be added alongside Season 3: Meltdown.

“Cool, calm, collected Crypto deploys specialized surveillance drones to stay in the fight and out of the spotlight,” EA said of the new character. Get to know more of him thanks to the video below.

The new season will come complete with a new Battle Pass and another new weapon: the energy-class charge rifle.

Apex Legends is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
