Anthem cross-platform play a possibility according to BioWare

Anthem cross-platform play won’t be available at launch, but hasn’t been ruled out entirely, according to a tweet from BioWare’s Mark Darrah.

When asked on Twitter if the feature was coming to the upcoming title, Darrah replied, “Not at launch.”

While the tweet’s not a confirmation that cross-platform play is coming to Anthem at a later date, it suggests BioWare is looking into the possibility.

Of late, Sony has relaxed its stance on cross-platform play with Xbox One and Switch; Fortnite is currently in a trial of cross-platform play between consoles and PC.

Are you excited about the possibility of cross-platform play inside Anthem?

Anthem heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 22 February 2019.
