Afterlove EP release date set for 14 February 2025

You know what day that is!

The Afterlove EP release date has been set for this Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2025.

“Set in the vibrant city of modern-day Jakarta, Afterlove EP follows Rama, a musician who finds himself lost after the unexpected passing of his girlfriend Cinta,” developer Pikselnesia and publisher Fellow Traveller wrote in a press release.

“As Rama struggles to let go of Cinta (especially since he still hears her voice inside his head!), he will be faced with myriad challenges, including finding inspiration and finishing the EP he promised Cinta (but kept putting off until it was too late); reconciling with his friends and bandmates; preparing for an important gig at the end of the month; and most importantly, the daunting prospect of moving on and finding love, friendship, or whatever direction his future takes him.”

As we’ve previously detailedAfterlove EP is the child of Mohammad Fahmi, the same developer who created Coffee Talk. Fahmi sadly passed away in March 2022, just days after speaking with Stevivor about Afterlove EP and Indonesian game development.

In September 2023, the nine remaining members of Pikselnesia announced that they would continue work on Afterlove EP, intending to “[stay] true to Fahmi’s vision whilst still going through the same approach you need for a high quality narrative game.”

Featuring art from Soyatu and an original soundtrack from L’alphaalpha, Afterlove EP heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch on 14 February 2025. A demo is currently available on Windows PC via Steam.
