Accessibility tags added to PlayStation Store

Yay!

Accessibility tags have been added to the PlayStation Store on the PS5, showcasing accessibility features present in current-gen titles.

“As you browse various game hubs on PlayStation Store game hubs on PS5, you’ll see a list of accessibility features by pressing the ‘Triangle’ button if the game you select supports Accessibility Tags,” Sony said in a blog post. “These can range from visual and audio accessibility settings to DualSense controller options, difficulty settings, and online communication features like chat transcription.”

There are more than 50 accessibility tags, ranging from visual and audio accessibility features right into controls, gameplay accessibility options and more.

Sony also said that it’s “collaborating with a wide range of developers to implement this feature in their game hubs on PS5 in the coming weeks and months.”

What do you make of the new accessibilty tags?
