The Quarry Hard Pass workaround available pre-patch

Want that last Achievement or Trophy? Here's how.

The Quarry Hard Pass has a workaround for those keen to collect the Achievement or Trophy without waiting for an official fix from 2K and Supermassive Games.

The trick to the workaround is getting The Quarry to register that you’ve declined Eliza’s help… which is rather important as that’s what Hard Pass is all about.

As per numerous sources around the internet, players will need to start up a new game to unlock Hard Pass. You’ll also need to collect at least one Tarot card in each chapter that you play.

With a Tarot card collected, play through the chapter as per normal until you reach Eliza. Then:

  • Wait for Eliza’s prompt and then select “Move On”
  • Once your choice has been registered, immediately pause the game
  • Select “Quit to Main Menu” (Y on an Xbox controller)
  • Once back at the main menu, continue the save you’ve been playing on

The actions above will bring you right back to Eliza after you’ve chosen to ignore her help, and will actually retain the choice within The Quarry‘s memory.

Repeat the actions above from the Prologue and you should unlock the Hard Pass Achievement or Trophy as you enter Chapter 6. If you need a hand with Tarot locations, we’ve embedded a handy vid below.

The Quarry is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We reviewed it here.
