Spoilers follow from here on in — though we’ve put all story-based Achievements at the very bottom of this post.

Level-based, ability-based and store-based Acheivements

  • Associate Intern: Achieve Rank 2
  • Junior Intern: Achieve Rank 10
  • Senior Intern: Achieve Rank 50
  • Principal Intern: Achieve Rank 100
    • You can gain ranks by finding Figments, combining PSI Challenge Cards and Cores, or finding PSI Challenge Markers. By the end of the campaign, we were around level 70.
  • Extra Credit: Upgrade your first Badge
  • Power Play: Fully upgrade a Badge
  • Unlimited Power!: Acquire all Upgrades
    • Badges provide Raz with powers. You’ll be able to apply Intern Credits (earned with each level) to your badges to level them up. You’ll need to be level 102 to apply the final upgrade.

  • PSI Roller: Upgrade to the Astral Wallet
  • Nest Egg: Completely fill your Astral Wallet
    • You’ll need 5,000 in-game currency to do this, so aim to upgrade your Astral Wallet and only buy the pins you need at the start.
  • Fluff Nutter: Max out your Dream Fluff capacity
  • King of Pop: Max out your PSI Pop capacity
    • These upgrades are purchased from Otto’s vendine machine (or which one can be found in the Atrium). Each will cost you the purple currency dropped by enemies and found within the world.

  • Pin Drop: Equip your first Pin
  • Pinhead: Equip 3 Pins at once
  • Kingpin: Purchase all Pins
    • Pins can be purchased through Otto’s vending machines (you’ll find one in the Atrium). There are 33 in total, and each will cost you the purple currency dropped by enemies and found within the world. Pins can be equipped at purchase or through menus.

  • You Otto be in Pictures: Purchase all Otto Shot Filters
    • These filters are also purchaseable from Otto’s vending machine. The Otto Shot itself is obtained in Otto’s Lab, within the Quarry.

  • Core Strength: Combine PSI Cards with a PSI Core at the Otto-Matic
    • You’ll need 9 PSI Cards and a PSI Core (purchaseable at an Otto-Matic) to do this.

Sidequest Achievements

  • I’m always here for you, darling!: Talk to Milla in her Office
    • According to Double Fine, this is only obtainable between the period that you can access the Motherlobe and before you finish the missions in Hollis’ Mind. As soon as you enter the Atrium, head towards the “Agents” sign and find her.
  • Forgot My Keys: Revisit a brain through the Collective Unconscious
    • This should come normally as part of the story, as you’ll be prompted by Sasha to use the functionality.
  • Home Run: Find the Family Camp
    • Raz’s family is found within the Questionable Area. Use the map below if you need help.
  • Family is in Tents: Help Dion Set Up Aquatodome
    • Once you’ve found the Family Camp, head back towards the parking lot (near the Lumberstack Diner) and help your brother. Use the map below if needed.

  • Dance, Baby, Dance: Complete Queepie Quest
    • You’ll need to find your other brother a total of six times. Queepie is hiding around the Questionable Area and you’ll know he’s near when you can hear his radio playing music. We’ll update this with a video when available. Finding him also awards you one of Questionable Area’s PSI Challenge Markers.
      • Location 1: Beside the waterwheel at the Far-Fetched Falls
      • Location 2: At the top of the Cave of the Sassclops
      • Location 3: In the trees near the family camp
      • Location 4: In the trees near the public toilets
      • Location 5: On top of the Lumberstack Diner (use the car’s bonnet to get up there)
      • Location 6: Directly above the family camp
  • Good Vibes Only: Complete Gisu’s Psychoseismometer Quest
    • There are three Psychoseismometers in total. Activating one will cause a combat scenario to complete. We’ll update this with a video when available.

  • A Fungus Among Us: Complete Lili’s Request
    • First, you’ll need to find Lili in the Quarry before heading to the top of the Far-Fetched Falls to get a special fungus. To get this, use your Time Bubble power on one of the logs going up the waterfall and look out for a secret entrance hidden behind the water.

  • Keep Your Shirt On: Scavenge all Mission Critical Assets
    • This is a scavenger hunt that tasks you to locate a total of 16 items scattered throughout the non-brain areas. We’ll update this with a video when available.

Video coming…

  • Shutterbug: Take a photo with the Otto Shot
  • Fine Tuning: Tune in to a Stray Thought
    • Both the Otto Shot and Stray Thought Tuner are in Otto’s Lab (The Quarry). There’s a Stray Throught in the Atrium, though you’ll need a bunch for collectibles. The Otto Shot can take a photo anywhere (hold right on the d-pad!).

Collectible-based Achievements

  • Safecracker: Crack all Vaults
  • Figheaded: Find all Figments
  • You’re it!: Tag all Emotional Baggage

Combat-based Achievements

  • Hiccup in the Giddyup: Recover your mental energy with a Dream Fluff
    • These can be purchased from Otto’s vending machine. You may need to turn off invincibility to “die” once you’ve bought a Dream Fluff; they’re used automatically when you have zero life left.
  • Take a Lickin’: Consume a PSI Pop to restore some mental energy
    • Buy (or find) a PSI Pop and hold down on the d-pad to consume it.
  • Objection!: Throw a Judge’s gavel back at him
    • You can find Judges all about, but don’t worry — we didn’t get this in the main campaign and then did it later on in the Psychoseismometer combat missions (see Good Vibes Only). Use TK to grab a gavel and throw it back at the same Judge.
  • TK-O: TK throw an object to stun an enemy
    • You can get this pretty much anywhere — use TK to grab a random object in the world and fling it at a bad guy.
  • Duck, Duck, Goose: Find the real Panic Attack during his Phantom attack
    • You’ll be able to slow down these enemies and PSI Blast fakes until you’re aware of the one true monster.
  • Shared Regret: Throw a Regret’s anvil at another enemy
    • Use your TK to grab the object these flying baddies are carrying and ensure to throw it at another bad guy. Pop!
  • Pyromania: Pyro 3 enemies at once
    • This is incredibly easy to do with a fully-upgraded Pryo power. Hold down the button you’ve mapped the power to and watch as the area of effect grows. Nab three baddies in it and this is yours.

Story-based Achievements

  • Employee of the Year!: Navigate Loboto’s Labyrinth
  • Mentee Fresh: Receive your first assignment
  • EVERYBODY Hates Socks with Sandals: Make a connection in Hollis’ Classroom
  • Know When to Fold’em: Shut Down the Luctopus
  • High Roller Revelations: Cool Hollis’ Hot Streak
  • Jung at Heart: Visit the Collective Unconscious
  • Sane in the Membrane: Repair Ford Fractured
  • Ram It Down: Plate Compton’s Cookoff
  • Feast of the Senses: Complete PSI King’s Sensorium
  • A Little Off the Top: Treat Ford’s Follicles
  • Perfect Game: Bowl Strike City
  • To the Letter: Deliver Cruller’s Correspondence
  • Buried Memories: Raid the Tomb of the Sharkophagus
  • The Relic Room: Discover the Astralathe
  • Archetypal Victory: Peruse Cassie’s Collection
  • Bob’s Your Uncle: Empty Bob’s Bottles
  • Tattered Family: Soothe Lucrecia’s Lament
  • Deluginist Darkness: Frequent Fatherland Follies
  • Make It Stop!: Break all 3 Gramaphones in Fatherland Follies
    • This isn’t fully story-based, but we didn’t want to ruin it. Here’s a video that shows all three locations (and you can revisit the level if you didn’t get it the first time).

  • Finish What Was Started: Dissolve the Deluge of Grulovia
  • Making Peace: Return to where it all started
    • Again, this isn’t fully story-based, but we didn’t want to ruin anything. After you’ve rolled credits, head to Nona’s River House in the Green Needle Gultch (A on the map below) and talk to the old woman.

Psychonauts 2 heads to Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 on 25 August 2021.
