MediEvil Lost Souls guide: Unlock the original PS1 MediEvil

A special MediEvil Original PS1 mode is available inside the PS4 remaster, with players first required to collect all Lost Souls in the PS4 mode to access it.

The news comes from PowerPyx, and we’ve his excellent guide to unlock the mode below!

There are 19 Lost Souls in the game, and each needs to be taken to a corresponding Resting Place before you can access the original PS1 mode. PowerPyx’s video will show you those locations.

As the guide’s maker notes, you’ll need to put each Lost Soul to its Resting Place and then complete the level you’re on for your progress to actually save. Once complete, you’ll be able to access Old Game in MediEvil’s main menu. It’s exactly what you’d expect — the original PS1 version of the game, straight from 1998.

MediEvil is a PS4 exclusive; we reviewed it here.
