Death Stranding Conan O’Brien guide: Where to find him

The Death Stranding Conan O’Brien cameo is one of the few guides that we can publish today, the game’s launch day. We’re happy to show you how to find the late night host below.

How to find Conan O’Brien in Death Stranding

Finding and interacting with Conan O’Brien are too very different things. Conan’s holed up in a prepper facility labelled as Cosplayer. I stumbled onto the prepper facility — a building down a crevasse about halfway between South Knot City and the Weather Station — without any delivery orders for it, and as such, the building was of little use to me. Conan wouldn’t come out to play.

The trick here is getting a delivery order, and you can do that in South Knot City. If you’re in Episode 3 (or onwards), you’ll be able to find and accept a Standard Delivery Order for the Cosplayer there. Deliver the package, connect the building the Chiral Network, and bada-bing, bada-boom, hello Conan.

Conan O’Brien’s Sea Otter Hood

Once you add the building to the Chiral Network, Conan — or, rather, The Wandering MC — will greet you and award you with the Sea Otter Hood. It’s a wearable that will allow you to paddle in rivers easier. Yay?

Additionally, you can obtain a Conan O’Brien hologram for your structures if you build up level 4 reputation with the Cosplayer’s delivery point. That’ll take a bunch of deliveries.

Death Stranding is available on PS4 from 8 November; it also heads to Windows PC in 2020.
