Resident Evil 7 item guide: Here are all end game unlocks

There are a number of unlockable items that you can obtain in Resident Evil 7.

Below are all of the items, alongside any requirements needed. Since we unlocked a bunch of items doing a bunch of things all at the same time, things are a bit muddy. Here’s what we know so far.

Unlocks

  • Albert-01R: This is a powerfun handgun obtained by finishing the game.
  • Walking Shoes: You’ll obtain this by finishing a playthrough in under 4 hours. They increase your walking speed.
  • The Essence of Defense: Reduces damage when guarding and works better when tied with The Secrets of Defense. This is theoretically tied to collecting all Mr. Everywheres.
  • The Secrets of Defense: It reduces damage when guarding and works better when tied with The Essence of Defense. Unlocks after you complete the game in Normal difficulty.
  • Circular Saw: A standard saw that can be used as a weapon. Unlocks after you complete the game in less than 4 hours.
  • X-Ray Glasses: Improves your vision — essentially works like permanent psychostimulants. Unlocks after you complete the game in less than 4 hours.
  • Infinite Ammo: Does what it says. This is obtained by completing the game on Madhouse difficulty. (Thanks, Alyzire!)
  • Dirty Coin: This is obtained by completing the Resident Evil 7 demo and finding all ghosts.

You’ll be able to find the above items when heading to an item box during your next playthrough or when reloading a previous save.
