The Witcher 3’s sales top 4 million in just two weeks, update 1.04 now available for Xbox One

At Stevivor, we love The Witcher 3: Wild HuntIt seems that we aren’t the only ones, with CD Projekt Red announcing that in the two weeks since it launched, The Witcher 3 has sold over 4 million copies.

In a letter posted to The Witcher’s official site, CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Marcin Iwiński thanked fans for their support of the title and celebrated the critical acclaim it had received. In his post he wrote;

In terms of media reception, we’re really humbled by the scores the game has received all around the world. With an average of 90+ on every platform, Wild Hunt is our dream coming true. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the four million gamers worldwide who bought The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the first two weeks from launch. Four million RPG fans spending their hard-earned money on our game is a sign that we did something right.

Those playing on Xbox One got some good news today too, with Community Manager Marcin Momot tweeting that update 1.04 would be coming to the console today. Update 1.04 was made available for PS4 last week and fixes an XP glitch which affects certain side quests, increases font size to improve readability and more.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
