The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s update 1.05 not coming to PC today; DualShock 4 support may come to PC

CD Projekt Red has been heavily supporting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt post-release with a range of updates, patches, bug-fixes and DLC.

Update 1.05 for the PC version was due for release this week, but appears to be delayed after a fan queried the release date for the patch on Twitter. Community Coordinator for CD Projekt Red replied as you can see below.

Expanding on his tweet on the title’s official forums, Momot wrote, “Please keep in mind that the patch is extremely large. It addresses a bunch of issues so we need to test it properly. We don’t want to fix some stuff, while breaking other.

“And regarding the XP glitch, as we mentioned, the lack of XP doesn’t affect the game in a big way. You are still able to level your character as designed.”

In a later tweet, Momot confirmed that the team were still hoping to include native support for the DualShock 4 on PC, but no timeframe was given.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
