Report: Leaked Super Smash Bros. footage for 3DS reveals new characters

Vooks is reporting that purported leaked footage from the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. has been posted online. This video shows off new playable characters that have yet to be announced.

Vooks report that several images had appeared online recently which claimed to feature the final roster for the game. These images included Duck Hunt Dog, Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, Bowser Jr and Shulk from the Wii RPG Xenoblade. Images such as these can easily be faked with the assistance of Photoshop, however the leaked footage shows Bowser Jr. and Shulk doing battle.

It’s likely that this footage is legitimate as creating a believable fake would be quite difficult, although there’s always the possibility that it’s fake. With Bowser Jr. and Shulk seemingly confirmed by the leak, it seems likely that the leaked screenhots were in fact accurate.

Only time will tell. Do you think the footage is real?

Super Smash Bros. will be available for 3DS in October and Wii U in December.
