Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s game director Ashraf Ismail coyly dodged the question of whether or not Assassin’s Creed and Watch_Dogs shared the same in-game world at E3 last week, leading many to believe that they in fact do.
“I don’t want to ruin the surprise for people. I don’t want to give anything away,” Ismail said when asked by elder-geek.com. “I will say, for the people who love both games, for the people who will play both games; there are some easter eggs that will be a bit hard to find, but when you find them, it will blow your mind.”
Do you think Ubisoft’s franchises are linked, or are they merely paying homage to one another, in-game? Time will tell when Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is released on both current and next-gen systems.
