Director on Mass Effect: Andromeda asks for an “open mind” to life without Commander Shepard

Senior Development Director at Bioware Chris Wynn has asked fans to be open minded about a Mass Effect game without series protagonist Commander Shepard. The upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda will indeed lack Shepard and any of the original trilogy cast, focusing on a new story and timeline in the Mass Effect universe.

I’d say many gamers will need more than just being asked politely to accept Mass Effect without Shepard, and hopefully we see more of Andromeda soon. Mass Effect: Andromeda is due out in Q4 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
