Call of Duty: WWII will be the first title in the franchise to sport a social space like Destiny‘s Tower.
The Headquarters social space — not to be confused with the Headquarters game mode — will allow up to 48 players to gather and simply hang out, showing off gear and accomplishments.
“Imagine a Call of Duty space that provides that, anchors you in World War 2, and continues your social engagement and your attachment to your avatar in a really transformational new space with other community members,” Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey said of the space to GamesRadar.

The number of players allowed in the space is currently up in the air; a listing on the Xbox Store (via Reddit) says multiplayer will cater to up to 48 players, while a listing on the Windows Store suggests up to 18, in line with past Call of Duty games. We’ll most likely find out definitive numbers during the game’s multiplayer reveal next month.
Call of Duty: WWII heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 November.
