EA today detailed its E3 2016 offerings.
As you may recall, the publisher is abandoning its traditional E3 model (and floor space) for two events across LA and London.
The LA event is called “Play LA” and features the following:
- Sunday, 12 June: 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm PST (6.00 am – 7.00 am AEST, Monday, 13 June) — EA Press Conference
- Sunday, 12 June: 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm PST (7.00 am – 9.00 am AEST, Monday, 13 June) — Play LA open to media
- Sunday, 12 June: 4.00 pm – 10.00 pm PST (9.00 am – 3.00 pm AEST, Monday, 13 June) — Play LA open to players
- Monday, 13 June: 9.00 am – 9.00 pm PST (2.00 am – 2.00 pm AEST, Tuesday, 14 June) — Play LA open to players
- Tuesday, 14 June: 9.00 am – 9.00 pm PST (2.00 am – 2.00 pm AEST, Wednesday, 15 June) — Play LA open to industry and E3 attendees
Over in London, the event is (unsurprisingly) called “Play London”. It will feature the same E3 press conference from 9.00 pm – 10.00 pm BST on Sunday, 12 June (6.00 am – 7.00 am AEST, Monday, 13 June), followed by player sessions from 10.00pm to midnight BST (7.00 am – 9.00 am AEST, Monday, 13 June).
