Destiny subclass quests: What they are and where to find them

Destiny update 2.0 came with a whole heap of news features and activities to keep players busy during “The Taken King”. If you’ve logged on since the update went live you may have noticed your characters vanguard mentor has a new quest line for each of your characters subclasses.

This quest line has a bunch of objectives that range from super simple, such as speaking to a vanguard mentor, to ridiculously difficult. These quests provide a massive amount of XP and are ideal for bringing any characters who aren’t already level 34 up and ready for “The Taken King” next week.

If you manage to carve your way through the final, supremely difficult step of the quest line you’ll be rewarded with a level 40 class item and an emblem for completing the quest. Fair warning though, the emblem is currently bugged and will not unlock if you complete the quest this week, so maybe save that final quest until after the expansion releases.

If your characters are already level 34 then I’d recommend saving those quest lines until next week, free experience is always good experience and these quests offer a solid amount of it. At the very least hold on to that final step to make sure you get your well deserved emblem.
