Bethesda teases Fallout 4 reveal, set for tomorrow

Fallout’s official website has been changed into a countdown timer counting down to a likely reveal for Fallout 4.

Set to expire at midnight 4 June AEST, the countdown has (at the time of writing) just under 17 hours remaining. While the page itself offers up nothing other than the countdown timer Reddit user ChakiDrH took it upon himself to investigate the page’s source code and discovered a few interesting bits of information.

First and most importantly is that the page’s domain is in fact fallout4.com. The page contains an age gate which will unlock a video titled “Institute” and, finally, the source code includes buttons for pre-order on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This last point is a little disappointing, but not unexpected considering how long Fallout 4 has likely been in development. We can only hope that the last-gen versions don’t compromise the current-gen releases too much.

Fallout 4 is rumoured to be shown at Bethesda’s first ever E3 press conference and then shown to media behind closed doors during the show. Bethesda’s press conference will be held 11:00 am, Monday, 15 June AEST.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the breaking Fallout 4 news as it’s revealed.
