The official Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain website has revealed that Metal Gear Online (included with the full game) will support up to 16 players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and up to 12 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
In March it was revealed that Metal Gear Online will include 1v1 up to 8v8 so now it’s confirmed that 16 players will be the maximum number on current-gen.
Hideo Kojima first showed of MGO in 2014 and demonstrated gameplay and other features which will be included on launch.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 1 September 2015.
