Square Enix is celebrating 4 million registered Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players by offering those with inactive accounts a period of play for free.
Between 27 February, 7pm AEDT through 9 March, 7pm AEDT those who have allowed their subscription to lapse will be eligible to login to the game free of charge. Players taking advantage of the free login period will be able to experience the latest patch (2.51 “Before the Fall”) and the Manderville Gold Saucer; in addition to everything else on offer.
“Before the Fall” was released last month as patch 2.5 and updated this week with patch 2.51. The first expansion “Heavensward” is due to be released Autmn 2015.
