Some game installs on the PlayStation 4 have been downright huge. Wolfenstein: The New Order was 48GB for example, Killzone: Shadow Fall weighed in at 38GB and The Last of Us: Remastered was a whopping 50GB.
Thankfully, Evolution Sudios are trying to spare your hard drive from another massive burden as the studio has managed to compress the install size to just 17GB. That’s according to Game Director Paul Rustchynsky on Twitter.
With #DRIVECLUB having gone gold I get plenty of questions about the install size. We managed to compress it to just ~17GB in the end :)

Rustchynsky also tweeted that for the impatient gamers among us, Driveclub is playable with only 3.5GB installed.
Driveclub will be available exclusively for PS4 10 October.
