To celebrate Star Wars Day — 4 May — BioWare has announced that from 2 May until 5 May players of The Old Republic will get a free mini-pet and double XP.
The mini-pet is an MT-4T Astromech Droid and is available to download from 30 April. Those who create an account by 4 May will also gain access to the droid. Check your in-game email inbox to access the mini-pet who can then be taken on missions, PvP zones and into operations.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is available for PC.
