Stevivor's Friendly Fire Show

Our PAX pox disaster!

Of all the times to get COVID...

Steve’s recovered from COVID and Ben’s been at home instead of in Melbourne. Oops. Welcome to Stevivor’s Friendly Fire Show 216!

Here’s what our show covered this week.

Welcome

  • (0:00) We’re back – and we missed a week, because we didn’t actually go to PAX

FIFA and NHL: 3 minutes of annual sports game chat

  • (4:00) We know it’s boring if you’re not into it, so we’ll be brief:
    • (4:30) Ben: 90 seconds on FIFA 23
    • (6:05) Steve: 90 seconds on NHL 23 (and his review)

Scorn

Rumour: PS5 Pro and Xbox Series Y dev kits are out

  • (20:00) Do developers have mid-gen dev kits already?

About the author

Ben Salter

Ben has been writing about games in a professional capacity since 2008. He even did it full-time for a while, but his mum never really understood what that meant. He's been part of the Stevivor team since 2016. You will find his work across all sections of the site (if you look hard enough).

About the author

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
