You can spend $60 AUD to get into Overwatch 2’s next beta

Free-to-play... but not.

Aussies can spend $60 AUD to get into Overwatch 2‘s next beta on 28 June thanks to the Overwatch Watchpoint Pack.

Now available, the pack includes the following:

  • Guaranteed Access to the Overwatch 2 PvP Crossplay Beta (Beta begins 28 June 2022)
  • Overwatch Legendary Edition (includes five (5) Legendary Skins, and five (5) Epic Skins)
  • Content Overwatch 2, including:
    • Premium Battle Pass: Season 1
    • Two (2) Overwatch 2 Legendary Hero Skins (Space Raider Soldier 76 and Space Raider Cassidy)
    • 2000 Overwatch 2 Virtual Currency
    • Overwatch 2 Player Icon (Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack pre-purchase exclusive)

Speaking with media outlets ahead of today’s Overwatch 2 event, Blizzard was cagey to detail how the game would be monetised. Maybe today we know why?

What do you make of this pack? If you don’t have the original Overwatch, it’s not a bad deal, to be fair. If you’re so inclined to grab it, you can find it here on the Microsoft Store and here on the PlayStation Store.

Overwatch 2 goes free-to-play on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch on 5 October 2022 here in Australia. We went in-depth on what to expect from it here.
