Yooka-Laylee on Nintendo Switch: More news coming “soon”, says Playtonic

Yooka-Laylee developer Playtonic plans to have more news about a Switch release “soon”, according to a recent tweet.

The developer recently published a photo with the game running on Switch alongside a brief update.

Yooka-Laylee was originally planned for the Wii U; Playtonic cancelled that version and confirmed details of a Switch release back in December 2016.

Playtonic’s Yooka-Laylee was released to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 this past April — we reviewed it here.
