Yakuza 6 delayed, but a demo’s coming this month

Yakuza 6 has been delayed into April 2018 by Sega, pushing the title from its original 20 March release date.

Players should now expect Yakuza 6: The Song of Life on 17 April.

While Sega called the delay a “tough business decision,” the blow was cushioned by the announcement of a demo for the title, available later this month. PS4 players will be able to access the Yakuza 6 demo from 27 February. Moreover, progress from the demo can be carried into the full game.

Sega promised fans it will release more info of the game in the coming weeks, providing players with more “insight into the series.”

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life now heads to PS4 on 17 April.
