Xbox’s Spencer wants to give third-party developers tools to support console keyboard and mouse controls

Phil Spencer has taken to Twitter to respond to Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan and calls for console keyboard and mouse support without the need for a converter.

Spencer, who is known as a supporter of keyboard and mouse control for consoles, was unsurprisingly for the idea.

“Clearly in some cases mouse and keyboard is an advantage,” Spencer began.

Spencer then suggested a method by which his could be achieved.

“I’m a fan of giving the tools to studios and they’ll do what’s best for their games.”

Are you for this new control scheme, or would you rather stick to a controller whilst on a console?
