Xbox’s Spencer: “I’ll work on making amends” as Street Fighter V won’t appear on Xbox

Now, we can’t read too much into this tweet by Xbox’s Phil Spencer, but we sure as hell want to.

After a fan took to Twitter to ask for a new Banjo Kazooie or Conker game because the Xbox One won’t be seeing Street Fighter V, Spencer simply said this:

The Microsoft-owned Rare Studios, creators of both Banjo Kazooie and Conker, are hard at work on an unknown game. Microsoft itself recently trademarked Battletoads, another Rare-created title.

Earlier in the year, Spencer stressed that Rare is more than “a Kinect Sports studio”.
