A new Xbox Wireless Headset was today unveiled by Microsoft, available in Australia from 16 March 2021 and priced at $149.95 AUD.

Promising “best-in-class audio performance,” the headset will deliver audio with a low-latency wireless connection via a direct pair to your Xbox console or via Bluetooth to your PC or mobile device.

It also “supports spatial sound technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone:X for realism and audio precision that fully surrounds you,” Microsoft advised.

The over-ear headphones feature rotating earcup dials for volume and game/chat balance alongside a microphone with voice isolation meant to reduce background noice. An internal battery promises 15 hours of life in a single charge and is charged via a USB-C connection.
