Xbox Series X first-party game showcase allegedly scheduled for 24 July

The Xbox Series X first-party game showcase has allegedly been scheduled for 24 July here in Australia, a new report from VGC states.

VCG’s sources also tell the publication that new studio The Coalition will reveal its first title during the event, which many believe to be a Perfect Dark reboot in the same style as Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider. There’s also speculation that a new Fable title from Playground Games will be shown off.

The report is also backed by VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, who took to Twitter to state he’s been told the first-party presentation would take place sometime during the week of 20 July.

The presentation will form July’s installment of Xbox 20/20, a monthly reveal of Xbox Series X news… that missed June 2020 altogether.

Microsoft has yet to comment on the report; we’ll let you know as we learn more. Another report suggests that the company will finally the unveil the Xbox Series S in an August presentation.
