Xbox Series S & X Quick Resume to be improved with May update

Yes, please.

Update: Quick resume improvements are part of the Xbox Series May update, which is rolling out now.

Original story: An upcoming Xbox Series S & X update will improve Quick Resume functionality, making it easier to see which titles support the feature and more.

The update was detailed by Xbox Engineering Lead, Eden Marie, and is currently available to Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead Insiders.

Marie showed off the update, in which a new “Quick Resume” Group is available. Said group lets you see which titles — including games and apps — are currently in Quick Resume and obviously will let you resume said titles as well.

It was also confirmed that players can use the Xbox guide to not only see which titles support Quick Resume, but also to close titles in Quick Resume that are no longer needed or wanted.

It’s unclear when the update will head to us ol’ regular Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X users, but we’ll keep you posted.
