Xbox Series S seemingly confirmed by controller packaging

The Xbox Series S has seemingly been confirmed by images of controller packaging ahead of an offical reveal by Microsoft.

The packaging, for a Robot White Xbox Series X-style controller — also known as the one with a dedicated Share button — displays compatibility for the Xbox Series S alongside Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10, Android and iOS devices. You can check out a tweet with multiple images below.

Perhaps the company’s worst-kept secret, the Xbox Series S is rumoured to be a less-powerful version of the Xbox Series X, providing functionality like ray tracing at a cheaper price point than Microsoft’s flagship next-gen console.

We’ll have more on the Xbox Series S as it’s made available. Rumour has it we’ll finally get a reveal of the console sometime this month.
